October is Anti-Bullying Month! Vintage has a no tolerance policy about bullying. Our student council selected several activities to unite students against bullying.
On Oct. 9th, students wore orange to join students all over the nation as a symbol against bullying.
Mid-month October, students made giant unity chains to string across post in the lunch area. Students wrote a word or phrase about themselves that make them unique and special. The message is "We are all different, special, and unique. Celebrating our differences binds us together, and makes us strong."
The week of October 21st, students will sign a pledge against bullying to be added to a Unity Banner.
