Parking: Parking is available onsite; entrance on 8th St. Close to Red Line Metro Vermont/Wilshire.

Schedule:
7:30 a.m. — 8:30 a.m.: Registration; refreshments
8:30 a.m. — 8:45 a.m.: Welcome and Introduction
8:45 a.m. –10:00 a.m.: Keynote Speaker — Dr. Joy L. Davis

“Talking the Talk of Gifted Education” 10:10a.m.–11:10a.m.: WorkshopSession1
11:20a.m.–12:20p.m.: WorkshopSession2
12:20p.m.–12:30p.m.: Evaluation !

Parents may choose from a variety of workshops that include: Social-emotional needs of gifted students, technology in the classroom, parenting gifted/talented children and more.

This conference is FREE to all parents of LAUSD GATE/SAS students. No prior registration necessary.
