Friday, October 12, 2018's evening was a beautiful, warm, fall evening. Families gathered on Vintage Magnet's campus as clouds also gathered in the distance with sheet lightening flashing. Attendees started the evening off with some wonderful refreshments available from Fratelli's Pizza and Kona Shaved Ice. The evening's key note speaker, Dr. Mar Vaquero, Mission Design and Navigation Engineer at JPL, educated the audience about the Cassini space probe and its journey to the 6th planet and its rings and its final demise. After the presentation, families enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities and presentation by STEM experts. At 8:00 PM the evening came to an end and within a hour the skies opened up providing us with much needed rain.
