Author and poet extraordinaire Mrs. Graham shared about the writing process of her books, Splish Splash, Flicker Flash, and The Poem That Will Not End, with the students. She read many of her poems and involved the students with sign language, and musical instruments such as an ocean drum, rain sticks and a thunder making cylinder. The whole student body attended grade level presentations. Mrs. Graham ended the day by doing a poetry workshop with the students who helped win the President's Award and by autographing over 100 books for students and staff. It was a great day!!
