There were many fun activities for us 5th Graders at Science Camp. There was a challenging hike, observing tide pools at the beach, engineering and racing boats, playing games with the camp counselors, and so much more. The hike was very fun, but very dangerous at the same time. Once we finished the hike, the 5th graders went to the beach to look at the tide pools. Some of the 5th graders said that they found starfishes, barnacles, sea slugs, and seashells. After that, we built boats with batteries, Styrofoam, wires, and motors. Soon we raced the boats. It was all very fun. In between the fun activities, we had a BBQ for lunch and a salad. For dinner we had some chicken and rice and an apple strudel for dessert. Most of the students said the food was super tasty and delicious. We all know that we will remember this field trip for the rest of our lives.
Below are a few photos capturing the fun.
