VIRTUAL HUGS FOR HEROES is about using art to honor the work and sacrifices of our everyday heroes who are serving us on the frontlines of this pandemic - our hospital workers, service providers, delivery people, teachers, first responders, essential workers, and more.
The art contest is open to youth grades Pre-K to 12 (3 categories: Elementary, Middle School, High School). 3 winners will be selected from each category. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 30, 2020 by 4 PM. Prizes in each age group are as follows: *1st Prize - $150 Gift Card *2nd Prize - $100 Gift Card *3rd Prize - $50 Gift Card Submissions should be two-dimensional works of art using any medium. Please include on the back (or on a separate piece of paper) the following: 1) Name, 2) Age, 3) Grade, 4) School Name, 5) Parent/Guardian name, 6) Address, 7) Contact information (email or phone number).
