This meeting will provide parents with the information they need to make an informed decisions when applying for schools for their child for the 2024/2025 school year.  This is especially important for parents of 5th grade students, who will be applying for Middle Schools.  

The eChoices on-time application window for the 2024/2025 school year is October 2 through November 17, 2023 at eChoices.lausd.net.  It is NOT first come first served, so please don't feel the need to apply on the first day it is available. 

If you have a child currently attending Vintage in grades K-4, please do not complete an eChoices application this year.  They will be a continuing student next year, and they will already have a spot with us.  If you apply to another Magnet during the on-time application window, you run the risk of being selected for another Magnet Program, thus automatically loosing your child's spot at Vintage.

Please be sure to complete a Household Income Form for your child for 2023/2024.  Submission of the completed Household Income Form entitles our school to receive additional Federal and State monies based on the number of eligible students and helps our school in many ways.  Completing the HIF is not about meals, as all students at our school are entitled to free meals at school, regardless of family income.

Please join us for the School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee Orientation and Elections on Monday, September 11, 2023.  We need parents who would like to be members of this year's council or committee, as well as parents that will vote in this election.  Parents will be able to attend the orientations and elections for both SSC and ELAC either in person in our auditorium or via Zoom.

In order to encourage participation, parents who attend the elections for either the SSC or the ELAC will earn 10 Bear Dollars for their child's class.
