Back to School Night 2016 for Vintage Parents & Guardians

It is that time of year when eager parents want to learn what their students will learning this year and to meet this year's teacher. Back to School night is set aside for K-5 parents/guardians (NOT STUDENTS) from 4:00PM to 7:30PM (see schedule below for activities the apply to you). Please leave students at home for this event. Teachers will be providing information geared towards parents and there will be no supervision for children. Also please arrive on time to each event you attend.

This is not a time for individual conferences. Parent/teacher conferences take place in November. If you need to meet before hand, please send the teacher a note to arrange for an appointment to do so at another time.

Remember, Tuesday, August 30th is a bank day with dismissal at 1:38PM.

Mad Science After-School Program Register Online

Calling all mad scientists... this after school program is for all you K-5 students. Register by September 5th to get the early bird savings. Cost is $104 per student and a $114 per student after the early bird deadline. Class day is on Fridays - 2:45PM to 3:45PM starting September 16 through October 28th, 2016 (no class on October 7th).

MyPaymentsPlus - One-time registration

MyPaymentPlus is a K-12 online payment system that can be used to pay for student meals and more. Add your students using their Student ID number. If you do not know your student's ID number, please contact the main office at 818-892-8661 or your student's teacher. Complete this online and avoid having to stand in line to pay for your student's meals.

Registration is easy. Visit www.mypaymentsplus.com and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.

Emergency Card, Computer Permission, and other Forms

Please check your child's backpack for important forms requiring your attention. Please complete the forms that have been sent home with your student in a timely manner.

If you need another copy of one of these forms you may find them by clicking the button titled "Downloadable Documents" on the Home page of Vintage's website - Standard District & School Documents (Emergency Card, Photo Permission, Computer Permission) or Current School Year Documents.

If you still can not locate the form you are looking for, check with the office. LAUSD also makes available on their website, standard district forms. Click here to visit that page.

Parents, Please complete the Meal Application

Attention Vintage Parents, Please take a minute to complete the Meal Application online (even if you think you don't qualify). It helps Vintage to establish its status in the meal program. Click here to learn what the LAUSD Food Services has to say about completing the form.

Parents and guardians can submit a meal application online. The online application will be processed within 24 hours, and you will not have to fill out a paper application and mail it or hand it over to the Food Services Manager at your child's school. By clicking on the link above you can access the online meal application.

In order to complete the application you will need:

Names, Dates of birth and school names for all LAUSD students including any income information for them, if they have an income.
Names of all other household members with their income information.
Last 4 digits of the Social Security Number of person submitting the application or indicate “I do not have one” if you do not have a Social Security Number.
Just follow the instructions and provide the information being requested.
Lastly after the final review, click on the submit tab and finish the application.
