Effective July 1, 2015, LAUSD will revise the local school districts creating six local districts instead of five service centers as they are currently called. To learn more how this will impact you and your children, read the frequently asked questions about this topic.
On behalf of the staff, Vintage wishes this year's culminating class much success. Your culmination was lovely and you truly are the 21st century leaders of tomorrow. Click here for photos and see video below of some of the special moments from culmination on June 3rd, 2015 and the dance party on June 4th.

A bright spot on Vintage's campus is the school garden. Thanks to dedicated 4th grade volunteers, the garden and other spots around school are kept up. Once a week, they weeded, planted, watered, raked, picked up leaves, and did what ever was needed. They were a very enthusiastic and dedicated bunch of students who were up to the challenge. Thank you for your service to the school!
If you are in 3rd grade this year and you like to garden, consider joining the Garden Club next year. Vintage's Principal's Office saw a lot of new faces this year. First, in August 2014, Vintage welcomed a new principal, Mrs. Mourao, to Vintage. Mrs. Mourao quickly saw how much work there was to be done. So it is with relief that Mrs. Mourao then welcomed two "Principals for the Day" this year to assist her in her duties. Awards Assembly day can be a very busy time for Principal Mourao so she happily shared her job with this year's winners of the Principal for the Day auction. In April's Awards Assembly, Principal Max Kahlenberg pitched in doing an awesome job making sure students got their awards. For our last assembly of the school year, Gavin McDougald arrived early with donuts for the staff and was eager to make some executive decisions such as no homework for the day. Vintage would like to thank these two gentlemen, who demonstrated a talent for taking charge, for participating in Principal for the Day. We would also like to thank their families for their support of our school.
