https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/vintagemagnetelemschool Vintage Magnet has once again been recognized as a California Distinguished School in 2020! On Monday, February 10th, a team from Vintage including Mrs. Mourao, Ms. Arias, Ms. Betts, and Jennifer Nerad-Sultan, attended the awards ceremony at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. Vintage was recognized for its outstanding achievement in closing the academic achievement gap for diverse learners. Vintage was presented this award from Tony Thurmond, California Superintendent of Instruction. After the ceremony, we attended a dinner reception with Local District Director, Cara Schneider, Local District Superintendent Joseph Nacorda, and School Board Member Scott Schmerelson. Vintage was one of only 10 schools in our local district to receive this award, which is a testament to the hard work of our students, parents, and teachers. Way to go, Vintage!
